This
is the third one of the conference series on the Asian crisis, 1997. (For
information about the previous two conferences held in Seattle, please
visit http://faculty.washington.edu/karyiu/)
Papers that analyze the causes and effects of the crisis, and the
recent recovery of these countries are most welcome. Papers for
presentation can be either theoretical or empirical. If interested, please send by January 31, 2001 a draft of your paper (or an extended abstract 300 – 500 words), together with your name, mailing and e-mail addresses, phone and fax numbers, affiliation and academic position to (e-mail submission is preferred):
If
a paper is accepted, a version for presentation will be due on May
15, 2001. While
participants are encouraged to find their own resources for traveling and
accommodation, partial travel subsidies are available to a limited number
of participants. If you need a subsidy, please state the amount requested
and the lowest round-trip airfare between your city and Tokyo. |
